When you join the SJNA, you are also joining the INA (The Illinois Nurses Association) and the ANA (The American Nurses Association). You will receive CHART; the bimonthly INA newsletter as well as AJN, the monthly nursing journal of the ANA. Your dues fees not only funds activities of your local unit (I.e. this web site, general meetings, specialty classes) but also funds nursing research, nursing scholarships and political action. By becoming a dues-paying member of the SJNA, you give your negotiating team a stronger voice at the bargaining table for you.
